That's a good point too: With the advertisements, the atheists are attacking even the Christians like yourself who don't intrude their own beliefs on everyone else. I should have said "I'd like to see those Christians be made to prove...", as in "those Christians who demanded that the atheists prove their claim of no god".

And by making ads that retaliate against Christian-sponsored ads, aren't those atheists just forcing the situation to escalate? As the song aptly says, "It's a goddamned arms race"!

While I fully agree with you on certain aspects, I would like to point out that not all Christian's condemn non-Christian's to Hell. I have never and I am a Christian. While I disapprove, because of personal beliefs, what the atheists are doing, I would nver call foul, or try to make them "prove" anything. I believe in freedom of religion completely and that all people have different beliefs. Would I prefer not to be attacked at every turn because of my beliefs? Yes, I would. Am I going to strike back at the people who strike at me? No, I will not. Regardless of what Christian's have done in the past, and still do now, Jesus was a complete pacifist and would have me love those who strike out at me. And so I do. I guess it all boils down to is, I agree with you on people being hypocrites (I am not getting into the the whole one God thing (it is all faith, my friend)). I do think think we all should have our beliefs and any attack on ANY faith in a country with freedom of religion should be frowned upon by all. The fact that the atheists put the signs up shows that they don't thing freedom of religion is right (there is a difference between signs saying "Take your family to church", et al and "There is no God", et al)
